Born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Shoshoni grew up immersed in a cultural mecca. Having attended LaGuardia H.S. of the Arts, directly behind Lincoln Center and the Met, these were her stomping grounds as a teenager and young adult.

Shoshoni then left NYC for Sweden, where she explored the arts while traveling throughout Europe and Scandinavia for the next three years. After returning stateside, she spent several years among artistic communities in and around Woodstock, NY.

Ready to leave New York once again, she drove to the tip of the Yucatan in Mexico, twice, with her dogs, making that her home. She has since travelled to South Africa, Morocco, the Caribbean and Mediterranean islands, South and Central America - landing on the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica. While there she built a home in the rainforest of Dominical, surfed, painted, raised her daughter, and volunteered for organizations devoted to protecting and expanding the jungle, before eventually returning to New York to give her daughter the same international and artistic foundation she'd had.

Most recently, her love for the sea led her to sail a 45' catamaran from St. Thomas to Fort Lauderdale, deepening her connection to the water, and to earth's currents that can't be fought, and must be followed. Realizing that although born and bred in New York City, nature is where she is most at home.

She now resides by the coast, in North County San Diego.
